ABOUT ME
I’m running for Village Council
to keep Chagrin Falls special.
I’ve called Chagrin Falls home for 15 years. My wife, Sherri, and I moved here to be closer to family, to take advantage of the great schools and abundant parks, and to live in a community where you can walk to just about everything. Our two kids grew up here and are now in college, but this village will always be home base for us.
For 35 years, I’ve worked in marketing communications. Sherri and I co-founded a firm that helped everyone from startups to Fortune 500 companies, along with nonprofits and civic groups. Today, I continue that work in higher education, at one of Northeast Ohio’s premier institutions, where I focus on building meaningful connections with alumni, donors, and the wider community. That experience has taught me how important clear, transparent communication is—and how much it matters when people feel engaged and heard.
Since moving here, I’ve tried to give back in as many ways as I can: volunteering in the schools, coaching youth softball, baseball, basketball, and flag football, and getting involved with Dad’s Club and the Jaycees. I love this village and want to make sure it thrives for decades to come.
That’s why I’m running for Village Council.
But let’s be clear on the challenges: Costs are continuing to climb while outside support for local communities is shrinking. Now more than ever, we need to be proactive—making smart and early investments to protect what makes Chagrin Falls special—and do the critical planning that will keep the village strong and sustainable.
Here’s what I’ll focus on:
-
Improve Communications: I’ll be transparent and hyper-responsive—returning calls, texts, and emails, and making sure residents’ voices are heard.
-
Protect What Makes Us Special: I’ll make cost-effective decisions that preserve our charm while preparing for the future.
-
Lean Into the Future: I’ll work to ensure Chagrin Falls is a vibrant community for generations to come.
At the end of the day, I genuinely care about this place and the people who live here. Even if we don’t always agree, you can count on me to listen, to keep my word, and to work with others to get results.

Help us spread the word! Every dollar helps us reach another door!
