Anthony Fossaceca announces candidacy for Chagrin Falls Village Council
September 2, 2025
CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO — Longtime Chagrin Falls resident, community volunteer, and marketing communications professional Anthony Fossaceca has announced his candidacy for Chagrin Falls Village Council.
Fossaceca and his wife, Sherri Konick, have lived in the village for 15 years, raising their two children here and actively contributing to community life. Over the years, Fossaceca has volunteered in Chagrin Falls Schools, coached youth softball, baseball, basketball, and flag football, and been a member of Dad’s Club and the Jaycees.
With 35 years of experience in marketing communications—including co-founding a firm that served organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies—Fossaceca currently works at Case Western Reserve University. He says his professional background has given him a strong foundation in public engagement and the skills to improve how local government connects with residents.
“If Chagrin Falls is going to maintain the traditions of our past, we’ve got to lean boldly into the future—exploring new ways of doing things without compromising our character. And we’ve got to be responsive to the needs of residents—addressing concerns and building trust,” Fossaceca said.
His campaign will focus on three priorities:
-
Improve Communications: Prioritize transparency and be hyper-responsive to residents’ questions and concerns.
-
Protect What Makes Us Special: Make cost-effective decisions that preserve the village’s charm while ensuring long-term sustainability.
-
Lean Into the Future: Embrace smart, forward-looking planning so Chagrin Falls remains vibrant for future generations.
Fossaceca said he is running to bring fresh voices and perspectives to council, noting the importance of leaders who listen, collaborate, and respond quickly to residents.
